The journey starts at Hotel Føroyar by pick-up at 13.00. Or by meeting at the ferry port at Sørvágur where a boat will be ready to sail you to the Tindhólmur. After sailing for 10 minutes and passing Drangarnir, you will arrive at Tindhólmur. You will get a guided tour around the islet. Like on the island Mykines, puffins breed on the islet, which means you will be able to go bird watching and very likely get close to the puffins. Furthermore, you will get the chance to lake swim in one of the most beautiful surroundings the Faroe Islands have to offer. Afterwards you will be served with a lunchpack outside the only two houses on the islet.

Tindhólmur is an islet on the southside of Sørvágsfjørður, west of Vágar in the Faroe Islands. It has its name from the five peaks, which are named Ytsti, Arni, Lítli, Breiði, Bogni (Farthest, Eagle, Small, Broad, Bent). The islet is uninhabited. It has an area of 65 hectares – or in old Faroese style, two merkur – and its highest point is at an elevation of 262 metres.

Take a refreshing plunge in to our swimmingpool of Tindhólmur - faroese style! Furthermore you will get the opportunity to do some cliff jumping from various hights; ranging from 1 meter up to 10 meters. Afterwards you will be able to enjoy a cold faroese beer and the surrounding nature.
