Weekly Public Tours

Bookings: All bookings of Weekly Tours goes through our partner Hotel Føroyar: hotelforoyar.com which will be sending out the confirmation mail and also the destination upon arrival.

Payment: You will be presented with the payment checkout when confirming your booking at hotelforoyar.com.

Waiver: When booking your trip at Outdoor Faroe Islands through hotelforoyar.fo you will be asked to confirm your understanding of our terms and your responsibility regarding your participation. These terms are as following:

• By booking at Outdoor I concede with their terms and conditions.

• I have no medical condition that imposes me, my instructor or the people around me in danger when engaging in the tour. I am in condition to partake in the activities. Furthermore I concede with Outdoor’s right to refuse to provide it’s service if I am wearing inappropriate clothing and shoes for nature and hiking, as this is with my own and others safety in mind.

• I know Outdoor Faroe Islands takes every precaution to ensure my safety and does so with professional instructors, strict guidelines and taking all known safety measures into account. But I also understand that there are inherent risks in nature and adventure activities that can not be accounted for. I take full responsibility for these possible risk.

• I will follow the guidelines and instructions of my guide or instructor at all times.

Travel insurance: It’s important to have a travel insurance should you have to cancel your tour or trip with short notice due to sickness or other circumstances. We try to be as flexible as possible in regards to refunds, but we have to make sure all our prepaid cost will be covered.

Cancelation: If you decide to cancel your booking, these are our conditions:

• A cancellation fee applies in all cases. The cancelation fee is 300 DKK.

• 30+ days notice: 100% refund

• Less than 30 days notice: 50% refund

• Less than 48 hours notice: 30% refund

• Less than 24 hours notice: no refund

• After the destinations has been announced: no refund

• In case we cancel a trip: Full refund

If bad weather inhibits a certain destination: In the case where the circumstances won’t allow us to travel to one of the three regular destinations we will try to present you with unique alternative. This alternative can be everything from a tour to another location or an adventure day near Tórshavn. This means it’s not a day gone to waste, but it will be an opportunity won, where you get to experience something completely different. If this should happen and you don’t want go to the alternative destination, you are welcome to cancel your booking with full refund.

Private Tours

Bookings: All bookings of group and business tours go through our contact mail. We will send you the confirmation mail and provide you with the crucial information and an description of the itinerary.

Payment: You will be issued with an invoice to confirm your booking. The invoice has to be paid 45 days upon arrival. Unless there has been another agreement during our planning and communication.
